A Certified Hospitality Professional (CHP) and seasoned academic leader, Nandy M. Gaya brings together global industry experience and educational excellence. From working aboard international cruise liners in the UK, Monaco, and the Philippines, to serving as Dean of the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Colegio de Sta. Teresa de Avila, Nandy has spent decades shaping the future of Philippine hospitality.

He holds a Master’s in Business Administration and is currently completing his Ph.D. in International Hospitality Management at Lyceum of the Philippines University. His teaching spans cruise tourism, hotel operations, and hospitality marketing—delivered through a hands-on, experience-based approach.

Nandy is also a TESDA-accredited trainer and assessor, with multiple certifications in key service areas like F&B, Housekeeping, Bartending, and Front Office. A frequent speaker and research contributor, he has presented at national and international conferences, including in South Korea and on board M/V 2GO Masagana.

He sits on the Board of HosTCoDe (CHED NCR) and is affiliated with AAHRMEI, UFTE, PARTH, and the Royal Institute of Hospitality Management (Singapore).
